Cottage, Bed & Breakfast

Situated in the heart of Ross, our selfcontained federation cottage has two bedrooms (one queen, two single) and a pull out sofa bed. Relax in our comfortable lounge room, and take a break from take-away with some home cooking in our spacious kitchen.
Cherryblossom Cottage has reverse cycle air conditioning, electric blankets, heated towel rail, washing machine, TV and DVD player, cable TV (Austar), and off street parking.
The very reasonable tariff includes breakfast provisions.
Stroll along Ross’s beautiful tree lined main street and browse the antique, gift and jewellery shops, or enjoy a walk or a picnic on the banks of the Macquarie River. Relax in the garden with a glass of fine Tasmanian wine. Whatever you choose, we feel sure that your stay at the Cherryblossom Cottage in Ross will be one you will want to repeat.

Locality

The tranquil village of Ross is a hidden gem in the heart of Tasmania.
The beauty of its main street is enhanced by the magnificent old elm trees, which filter the sun and cast a green gold light on the graceful Georgian sandstone buildings.
Unadulterated by the hot and sweaty rush of modern times, Ross gives you a glimpse into a more peaceful, relaxed way of life, a rare rural idyll where the relaxation and serenity seep into your bones and leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
But not too relaxed we hope, as our little village has plenty of things to do and see. The Wool Centre will tell you about all Ross’s many attractions.
The Man o’ Ross pub offers great meals featuring top class Tasmanian produce, local cafes and teashops have tempting treats, and we have the best shops in Tasmania! Alpaca garments, Tasmanian wood products, jewellery, art and gifts are just some of the items Ross has to offer.
